Ode to Granny

Today is Mother's Day.  In honor of my mom and my very best friend, granny (may she RIP, 2008), I ask that you remember your grandmothers, mothers and lessons learned.

Priceless lessons learned from my granny:
  1. Always eat your carrots whether raw or cooked
  2. Believe in yourself, no one else will
  3. Argue with your heart not your head, you will be able to find peace and forgive
  4. If you must clean your teeth at the table, use a napkin
  5. Eat with your mouth closed (when you get older, a lot of people forget this)
  6. Love with your all your might, despise no one
  7. Make a promise, see it through
  8. Giggle, it feels good
  9. Pass on something to a child
  10. And, finally, live to the fullest and behave accordingly

Happy Mother's Day mom and granny!
